| (a) |
must monitor the performance by South African National Parks of its functions; |
| (b) |
may determine norms and standards for the performance by South African National Parks of its functions; |
| (c) |
may issue directives to South African National Parks on measures to achieve those norms and standards; |
| (d) |
may determine limits on fees charged by South African National Parks in the performance of its functions; and |
| (e) |
may identify land for new national parks and extensions to existing national parks. |
| (2) |
South African National Parks must perform its functions subject to the norms and standards, directives and determinations issued by the Minister in terms of subsection (1). |
