| (1) | In these Regulations any word or expression to which a meaning has been assigned in the Act shall have that meaning and unless the context otherwise indicates— |
"Department"
means the Department of Home Affairs;
"instructions"
means the instructions issued by the Director-General in terms of section 22(1)(c) of the Act;
"the Act"
means the Identification Act, 1997 (Act No. 68 of 1997)
