Fire Brigade Reserve Force Regulations, 1994

1. Definitions

Purchase

In these regulations, unless the context otherwise indicates any word or expression to which a meaning has been assigned in the Act shall bear the meaning so assigned thereto, and—

"Act"

means the Fire Brigade Services Act, 1987 (Act No. 99 of 1987);

"reservist"

means a member of the reserve appointed in terms of section 6A(2) of the Act;

"reserve"

a fire brigade reserve force established by section 6A(1) of the Act;

"uniform"

includes any equipment and protective clothing issued to a reservist in terms of regulation 6.
