(1)
| (a) | The Minister, after consultation with the Fire Brigade Board, must prepare a National Fire Service Framework applicable to controlling authorities that sets out the medium term Key Performance Indicators and Objectives which are aimed at guiding and directing the planning and provision of a service. |
| (b) | The Framework contemplated in paragraph (a) must promote— |
| (i) | public safety; and |
| (ii) | the efficiency and effectiveness of services. |
| (c) | The Minister, after consultation with the Fire Brigade Board, may review the National Fire Services Framework as reqUired. |
