Any person who is convicted of an offence under this Act shall be liable—
| (a) |
in the case of an offence referred to in section 16, to a fine, or to imprisonment for a period not exceeding twelve months, or to both such fine and such imprisonment; |
| (b) |
in the case of an offence referred to in section 13(a) or (c), to such fine as the court may deem fit to impose, or to imprisonment for a period not exceeding five years, or to both such fine and such imprisonment; |
| (c) |
in the case of an offence referred to in section 13(e), to such fine as the court may deem fit to impose, or to imprisonment for a period not exceeding 10 years, or to both such fine and such imprisonment; |
| (d) |
in the case of an offence referred to in section 13(b) or (d), 14 or 15, to such fine as the court may deem fit to impose, or to imprisonment for a period not exceeding 15 years, or to both such fine and such imprisonment; and |
| (e) |
in the case of an offence referred to in section 13(f), to imprisonment for a period not exceeding 25 years, or to both such imprisonment and such fine as the court may deem fit to impose. |
