Regulations pertaining to Tourist Guides

1. Definitions

In these regulations a word or term to which a meaning is attached in the Act, has that meaning which is thus attached to it, and unless the context indicates otherwise--

"the Act"

means the Tourism Act, 1993 (Act No. 72 of 1993);

"class of tourist guides"

means a class of tourist guides determined by the Board in terms of section 20(3) of the Act;

"registrar"

means the Registrar of Tourist Guides referred to in section 20(1) of the Act;

"region"

means a region referred to in regulation 7.
