Scientific Research Council Act, 1988 (Act No. 46 of 1988)

2. Continued existence of Council for Scientific and Industrial Research

 

(1) The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research established by section 2 of the Scientific Council Act, 1945 (Act No. 33 of 1945), shall, notwithstanding the repeal of the Scientific Research Council Act, 1984 (Act No. 82 of 1984), by this Act, continue to exist as a juristic person known as the CSIR.

 

(2) The registrar of deeds concerned shall make the entries or endorsements in or on any a relevant register, title deed or other document in his or her office to him or her, that he or she may deem necessary in order to give effect to the provisions of subsection (1), and no office fee or other charge shall be payable in respect of any such entry or endorsement.

 

(3) The Council must comply with the provisions of the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act No. 1 of 1999).
