Chapter 3 : Restraint orders

17. Seizure of property subject to restraint order

 

 

(1) In order to prevent any realisable property from being disposed of or removed contrary to a restraint order, any police officer may seize any such property if he or she has reasonable grounds to believe that such property will be so disposed of or removed.

 

(2) Property seized under subsection (1) shall be dealt with in accordance with the directions of the superior court which made the relevant restraint order.
