By virtue of the powers vested in the South African Heritage Resources Agency in terms of section 29(1) of the National Heritage Resources Act, No. 25 of 1999 (the Act), read with section 29 (1) (a) (iii) of the Act, the property as fully described in the Schedule hereto is hereby provisionally protected for a period of two years.

Description:

The site consisting of Erven 11877 to 11899 and the adjacent street reserves situated on Portion 33 of the Farm 389, Registration Division IQ, as well as Portion 13 of the farm Klipspruit 298, Registration Division IQ, and the adjacent portion of Union Street including 10 (ten) metres of land on the south side of Union Street, situated on Portion 1 of Erf 2, Erf 3, Erven 104, 106, 137, Portion 1 of Erf 139, the Remainder of Erf 139 and the corresponding portions of the street reserves of Third and Fourth Streets and Beacon Way, all situated in the Pimville Zone 9 Township, Soweto, Gauteng Province.
