I, TT Mboweni, hereby in terms of section 177(1)(b) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003 (Act No. 56 of 2003), exempt municipalities and municipal entities from the provisions of that Act, as set out in the Schedule.

SCHEDULE
Exemption
| 1. | Subject to the conditions in paragraph 2, municipalities and municipal entities are exempted, for the 2019/2020 financial year, from complying with the deadlines in sections 126(1) and (2), 127(1) and (2), 129(1) and 133(2) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003 (Act No. 56 of 2003). |
Condition
| 2. | Municipalities and municipal entities must comply with a provision referred to paragraph 1 within two months after the deadline in the applicable provision. |
