Hydrographic Act, 2019 (Act No. 35 of 2019)17. Transitional arrangements |
| (1) | The person who immediately before the commencement of this Act performed the functions of the Hydrographer continues to do so and is deemed to have been appointed in terms of section 5. |
| (2) | Every person who immediately before the commencement of this Act performed any functions of a member of the staff of the office of the Hydrographer that existed before such commencement, is deemed to have been appointed in terms of section 5. |
| (3) | Any action taken by the Hydrographer before the commencement of this Act is regarded to have been taken in terms of this Act. |
