Debt Collectors Act, 1998 (Act No. 114 of 1998) 16A. Cancellation of registration as debt collector |
The Council shall–
| a) | In the prescribed manner cancel the registration or a debt collector upon the written request of the debt collector; and |
| b) | Record the name of such debt collector in the register contemplated in section 12(1)(b). |
