PROCLAMATION

by the

President of the Republic of South Africa

Department of Justice and Constitutional Development

Under section 60 of the of the Cybercrimes Act, 2020 (Act No. 19 of 2020), I hereby, fix 1 December 2021 as the date on which—

(a)	Chapter 1;

(b)	Chapter 2, with the exclusion of Part VI;

(c)	Chapter 3;

(d)	Chapter 4, with the exclusion of sections 38(1)(d), (e) and (f), 40(3) and (4), 41, 42, 43 and 44;

(e)	Chapter 7;

(f)	Chapter 8, with the exclusion of section 54; and

(g)	Chapter 9, with the exclusion of sections 11B, 11C, 11D and 56A(3)(c), (d) and (e) of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences and Related Matters) Amendment Act, 2007 (Act No. 32 of 2007), in the Schedule of laws repealed or amended in terms of section 58,

of the said Act, shall come into operation.
