Control Measures relating to Controlled Diseases of Cloven-Hoofed Animals

3. Document requirements for movement of cattle, sheep and goats in the whole country

 

Movements of live cattle, sheep and goats must be accompanied by the following documents:

 

(1) Declaration by the responsible person at the land of origin, attesting to the land of origin and health status of the animals and in compliance with any conditions or prescriptions for such declarations that may be determined by the director;

 

(2) Signed undertaking of the responsible person at the land of destination, in compliance with any conditions or prescriptions for such undertakings that may be determined by the director, confirming that the animals will be detained in isolation at the land of destination for at least 28 days before introducing them onto the main herd or before moving them any further to another destination.

 

(3) Subject to none of the isolated animals showing any signs of or otherwise being suspected of being infected with any controlled animal disease, the post-movement isolation as per subparagraph 3.(2) above is hereby revoked on day 29 after arrival at the land of destination.
