Adjustments Appropriation Act, 2017 (Act No. 12 of 2017)4. Conditions for appropriations |
| (1) | The Minister may, in writing— |
| (a) | impose conditions on an appropriation in the Schedule to this Act, other than a conditional allocation, in order to promote transparency and accountability and the effective management of the appropriation; and |
| (b) | stop the use of an appropriation in respect of which conditions have been imposed in terms of paragraph (a), until such conditions are met. |
| (2) | The stoppage of an appropriation in terms of subsection (1)(b) must be disclosed in the National Treasury’s next quarterly report to the relevant Parliamentary Committees. |
