I, Caroline Dey Da Silva, Deputy Authority of Short-term Insurance, hereby, under the Short-term Insurance Act, 1998 (Act No. 53 of 1998), promulgate the replacement of the Policyholder Protection Rules ("PPRs") made under section 55 of the Short-term Insurance Act, 1998, as set out in the schedule.

The replacement of the PPRs is necessary to give effect to a number of conduct of business reforms.

This Notice comes into operation on 1 January 2018.
