No person shall be appointed as a member of the Board if—
| (a) |
he is not a South African citizen permanently resident in the Republic; |
| (b) |
he is an unrehabilitated insolvent; |
| (c) |
he has been dismissed from a position of trust by reason of improper conduct involving a breach of such trust; |
| (d) |
he has been convicted of any offence involving dishonesty or of any other offence for which he has been sentenced to imprisonment without the option of a fine; or |
| (e) |
he has been found guilty of improper conduct in accordance with Chapter IV. |
