The following persons are not personally liable in respect of any act or omission performed in good faith while exercising powers or performing functions in terms of this Act, unless that performance was grossly negligent:
| (a) |
The Minister or the Minister of Police; |
| (b) |
a person acting in terms of the authority of the Minister or the Minister of Police; |
| (d) |
a person acting under the lawful direction of the National Commissioner or authorised member; |
| (e) |
a member of the Appeal Board contemplated in section 26; or |
| (f) |
a combination of any of the above persons. |
