1.	In this determination any expression to which a meaning has been assigned in the Act shall bear that meaning and, unless the context otherwise indicates—

means the Land Claims Court established by section 22 of the Act;

means household or personal effects;

means any person not being a judge of the Supreme Court of South Africa, holding the office of—

(a)	the President of the court appointed under section 22(3) of the Act; or

(b)	a judge of the court appointed under section 22(4) and (8) of the Act;

means leave on full pay unless expressly otherwise indicated;

means the Minister of Justice and includes, for the purposes of paragraphs 3 and 16, an officer acting on the authority of the Minister of Justice;

for the purposes of paragraph 6 means the aggregate of the annual salary and the allowance payable to a judge in terms of paragraph 2; and

means the Restitution of Land Rights Act, 1994 (Act No. 22 of 1994);
