| (1) | In pursuit of the Government’s objectives and those of the Foundation, the Minister may, after consultation with the Foundation and any other relevant Minister, determine national policies for research and funding to be implemented by the Foundation. |
| (2) | The Minister may, after consultation with the Foundation, issue national policy guidelines for the implementation of the policies referred to in subsection (1). |
