National Gambling Act, 1996 (Act No. 33 of 1996)5. Committees of Board |
| 1) | The Board may from time to time appoint one or more committees to perform the functions and exercise the powers delegated to it by the Board. |
| 2) | A committee shall consist of such members of the Board as the Board may designate. |
| 3) | The Board shall designate the chairperson of a committee. |
| 4) |
| a) | A committee shall perform its functions and exercise its powers subject to the provisions of this Act and such directives of the Board as are not in conflict with such provisions. |
| b) | Any decision taken in the performance or exercise of a function or power so delegated shall be deemed to have been taken by the Board. |
