| (1) | The costs and expenses connected with the application of this Act must be defrayed from money appropriated by Parliament to the Department for that purpose. |
| (2) | In addition to the audit of the financial statements of the Department in terms of the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act No. 1 of 1999), the Auditor-General must audit the affairs of the Committee. |
