| (1) |
When necessary for the proper performance of its function, the Board may— |
| (a) |
delegate any of its powers, excluding the power to make the final decision on the determination of a municipal boundary, to— |
| (b) |
instruct any such member, committee or employee to perform any of the Board's duties. |
| (2) |
A delegation or instruction in terms of subsection (1)— |
| (a) |
is subject to any conditions and directions the Board may impose; and |
| (b) |
does not divest the Board of the responsibility concerning the exercise of the power or the performance of the duty. |
| (3) |
The Board may confirm, vary or revoke any decision taken by a member of the Board, committee, or employee, in consequence of a delegation or instruction. |
