| (1) |
A member of the Board- |
| (a) |
must perform the functions of office in good faith and without fear, favour or prejudice; |
| (b) |
must disclose any personal or any private business interest that that member or any spouse, partner or business associate of that member may have in any matter before the Board and must withdraw from the proceedings of the Board when that matter is considered by the Board, unless the Board decides that the member's interest in the matter is trivial or not relevant; |
| (c) |
may not use the position or privileges of a member for private gain or to improperly benefit another person; |
| (d) |
who is a full-time member may not undertake any other paid work, except with the consent of the Board and the Minister; and |
| (e) |
may not act in any other way that compromises the credibility, impartiality, independence or integrity of the Board. |
| (2) |
A member of the Board who contravenes or fails to comply with subsection (1) is guilty of misconduct. |
