| (1) |
The Minister, with the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, must determine the conditions of appointment of the members of the Board, taking into account— |
| (a) |
the conditions of appointment of members of other institutions referred to in section 219 (5) of the Constitution; |
| (b) |
the role, duties and responsibilities of a member of the Board; |
| (c) |
affordability in relation to the responsibilities of the Board; and |
| (d) |
the level of expertise and experience required for a member of the Board. |
| (2) |
A member of the Board is either a full-time or part-time member, as may be determined by the Minister. |
| (3) |
Conditions of appointment may differ in respect of— |
| (a) |
the chairperson, deputy chairperson and other members of the Board; |
| (b) |
full-time and part-time members; and |
| (c) |
any other appropriate circumstances. |
