| (1) | Subject to the provisions of the Public Finance Management Act, the Board may, in writing, delegate any of its powers or assign any of its duties or functions imposed on or assigned to it, to any director, committee, employee or agent of Legal Aid South Africa. |
| (2) | A delegation or assignment in terms of subsection (1)— |
| (a) | is subject to any conditions and directions as the Board may deem appropriate; and |
| (b) | does not divest the Board of the responsibility for the exercise of the power or the performance of the duty or function. |
