| (1) |
The registrar must register an applicant as a private college if the registrar has reason to believe that the applicant— |
| (a) |
is financially capable of satisfying its obligations to prospective students; and |
| (b) |
with regard to all its continuing education and training qualifications or part-qualifications— |
| (i) |
will maintain acceptable standards that are not inferior to standards at comparable public colleges; |
| (ii) |
will comply with the requirements of Umalusi; and |
| (iii) |
complies with any other reasonable requirement prescribed by the Minister. |

The registrar may require further information, particulars and documents in support of any application for registration. |
