The purpose of the directions is to provide for the:

Procedures at hand-over points, loading points and terminals depots; |

Provision of access, hygiene, screening equipment and disinfection control at the train stations, terminals and hand-over facilities; |

Prohibition of overcrowding and overloading of trains; |
| (f) |
Reporting to the Railway Safety Regulator and the relevant authorities; |
| (g) |
Oversight responsibilities by Railway Safety Regulator; |
| (h) |
Suspension of Rail Operations; |
| (i) |
Resumption of commuter service; |
| (k) |
Declaration of essential services. |
