I, Dr P A Motsoaledi , the Minister of Home Affairs, under the powers vested in me under section 4(3)(a) of the Recognition of Customary Marriages Act, 1998 (Act No. 120 of 1998), hereby prescribe a further period for the registration of customary marriages referred to in the aforesaid section 4(3)(a) up to 30 June 2024.
