| 1. | Section 29 of the Extension of Security of Tenure Act, 1997, is hereby amended by the substitution for subsection (2) of the following subsection: |
‘‘(2) The provisions of the Prevention of Illegal [Squatting Act, 1951 (Act No. 52 of 1951)] Eviction from and Unlawful Occupation of Land Act, 1998, shall not apply to an occupier in respect of land which he or she is entitled to occupy or use in terms of this Act.’’.
