| 1) | An employer shall ensure that the exposure of employees to a HBA is monitored in accordance with a suitable procedure that is standardised, sufficiently sensitive and of proven effectiveness in any case which it is – |
| a) | requisite for ensuring the maintenance of adequate control of the exposure of employees to HBA; or |
| b) | otherwise requisite for protecting the health of employees. |
