| (1) | A vessel shall not be launched or otherwise proceed to sea from, or be landed, beached, moored, or berthed at, any place along the shore other than a harbour, fishing harbour or launching site. |
| (2) | Any person who contravenes the provisions of subregulation (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding R40 000.00 or imprisonment of one year. |
