Replacement of the Policyholder Protection Rules

I, Caroline Dey Da Silva, Deputy Authority of Long-term Insurance hereby, under the Long-term Insurance Act, 1998 (Act No. 52 of 1998), promulgate the replacement of the Policyholder Protection Rules ("PPRs) made under section 62 of the Long-term Insurance Act, 1998 as set out in the schedule.

The replacement of the PPRs is necessary to give effect to a number of conduct of business reforms.

This Notice comes into operation on 1 January 2018.
