| (1) | All cadets must be employed on contract during the training period: Provided that the terms and conditions of the contract are determined by the Minister after consultation with the Director-General. |
| (2) | A cadet may not be a member of a trade union. |
| (3) | A cadet is not a member as defined in the Act. |
