(b) HIV and AIDS (Life Skills Education) Grant

To support South Africa's HIV prevention strategy by increasing sexual and reproductive  health knowledge, skills and appropriate decision  making among learners and educators; to mitigate  the impact of HIV and TB by providing a caring,  supportive and enabling environment for learners  and educators; to ensure the provision of a safe,  rights-based environment in schools that is free of  discrimination, stigma and any form of sexual  harassment/abuse; to reduce the vulnerability of  children to HIV, TB and sexually transmitted  infections, with a particular focus on orphaned and  vulnerable children.
