I, Pravin J Gordhan, Minister of finance, hereby determine, in terms of—
| (a) | section 37 of the Credit Rating Services Act, 2012 (Act No. 24 of 2012) ("the Act"), 15 April 2013 as the date on which the Act comes into operation; and |
| (b) | section 3(2) of the Act, 17 December 2013 as the date with effect from which a person may not perform credit rating services or issue a credit rating in the Republic unless such person is a registered credit rating agency in terms of section 5 of the Act. |
