Transfer of Administration and Powers and Functions Entrusted by Legislation in Terms of Section 97 of The Constitution

PROCLAMATION
by the
President of the Republic of South Africa
I hereby transfer, with effect from 1 April 2010-
| a) | in terms of section 97(a)of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, ]996, the administration entrusted to the Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs by the legislation mentioned in column 1 to the Schedule, including all amendments thereto, to the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries; and |
| b) | in terms of section 97(b) of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996, the powers and functions entrusted to the Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs by the legislation mentioned in column 1 to the Schedule, including all amendments thereto, to the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries to the extent indicated in column 2 of the Schedule. |
