| (1) | The Secretary may grant a delegation or authority contemplated in section 10 of the Act in writing by setting terms and conditions of the performance of the power or duty in writing. |
| (2) | Any authorisation to perform a duty in terms of these Regulations does not prevent the Secretary of Police from performing that duty himself or herself. |
