The Authority of Short-term Insurance hereby gives notice under section 55(3) of the Short-term Insurance Act, 1998 (Act No 53 of 1998), that it is intended to promulgate, under section 55 of the said Act, the Policyholder Protection Rules (Short-term insurance) which are set out in the Schedule hereto, as proposed by the Authority after consultation with the Advisory Committee on Short-term Insurance established by section 6 of the said Act.

All interested persons are hereby invited to make representations in the format/matrix set out below, on the proposed Rules so as to reach the Authority within 60 days after the date of publication of this Notice, at the following address:
