| 31. | The abstract on Form P8 shall be that of the technical disclosure contained in the complete specification, but shall not be used to interpret the scope of the claims. It shall be in narrative form and generally limited to a single paragraph of not more than 150 words. The form and phraseology of patent claims shall be avoided. Features mentioned in the abstract and illustrated in the drawing chosen therefor may be followed by the reference sign used in that drawing. |
