Insider Trading Act, 1998 (Act No. 135 of 1998)7. Assessment of fines and penalties |
| 1) | In the assessment of any penalty in terms of section 5 , the court shall take into account any award previously made under section 6 which arises from the same cause. |
| 2) | In the assessment of any award under section 6, the court shall take into account any penalty previously imposed in terms of section 5 which arises from the same cause. |
