In these regulations a word or expression to which a meaning has been assigned in the Act bears that meaning unless the context otherwise indicates—
"the Act"
means the Communal Property Associations Act, 1996 (Act No. 28 of 1996);
"communal property bodies"
means provisional associations contemplated in section 5 and associations contemplated in section 8 and similar entities contemplated in section 2 of the Act, or any combination thereof, and "bodies" has a corresponding meaning.
